Leslie Traylor arrived at KU and in Lawrence in July 2006. She brings a lifetime of various skills, experiences from literary journal managing editor and published poet to service in the US Army which culminated in a leadership position in Operation Desert Storm. In 2004, she received a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences:Creative Writing Emphasis, at University of Washington’s Bothell campus. Go Dawgs! She and her daughter bring their dog, two cats, and the brisk Pacific Northwest weather to the friendly KU community.
