LC Description:
The "Law and Society" Learning Community seeks to inform students of the legal system and how the law has impacted society. A focus will be placed on the social and historical events that have helped shape the law, and how the law can evolve to meet the needs of our ever-changing society. Some emphasis is also placed on pre-law preparation, and exploring how one can be academically, emotionally, and financially prepared for law school. Students will come away from the learning community with an appreciation of the law and an understanding of the impacts changes in the law have made on the world in which they live.
