(3) S, SC. An examination of the backgrounds, cultural values, and social institutions of the different group found in the United States. Analysis of American diversity through the study of ethnicity, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, regionalism and age. Not open to students who have taken AM S 112. (Same as SOC 112.)
